A margine della strada è la chiesa di Sant'Eufemia, importante edificio romanico fondato nella circostanza, di cui resta intatta la facciata; l'interno è strutturato ad aula con cappelle laterali e abside poligonale. Nella parte sinistra del presbiterio è conservata la lastra tombale del vescovo Agrippino, vissuto nel VII secolo. Il campanile ha fisionomia romanica, con più tarda lanterna poligonale. Along the state road, on the border with Lenno, is the core of Isola, formed on the mainland by those who fled Comacina Island in the aftermath of the destruction of 1169. On the side of the road is the church of Sant'Eufemia, an important Romanesque building founded in the circumstance, whose facade remains intact; the interior has a classroom structure with side chapels and a polygonal apse. On the left side of the presbytery there is the tombstone of Bishop Agrippino, who lived in the seventh century. The bell tower has a Romanesque physiognomy, with a later polygonal lantern. Al suo interno vi è una navata con cappelle laterali. Affreschi e stucchi da vedere. L'affresco esterno dell'entrata ormai si è deteriorato. Church erected after 1169 (date on which the inhabitants of Como destroyed most of the buildings on the island of Comacina. The church is from the Romanesque era. Inside there is a nave with side chapels. Frescoes and stuccos to see. The exterior fresco of the entrance has now deteriorated.
