(Traduction Google) Too bad the building is not visible internally.

The building, which is located inside a private property, cannot be visited, but its forms can be seen along the provincial road towards Como. For single nave, with irregular pattern, ends with an apse low engraved by three splayed. The facade is undecorated and only move from a monolithic lintel of the doorway and a window at the cross. It is made with stones and pebbles. A female Benedictine monastery was built next to the church, abandoned in the 17th century. At the end of the eighteenth century, the mothers of S. Colombano di Como sold their property to P. Venini, owner of Villa Giulia. The descendants demolished the monastery in 1804 to build the driveway that led directly from the property to the lake. Too bad it cannot be visited!

A beautiful place, but it is not clear how to get to the church. Signpost in front of the stairs, and at the end of the stairs there is a road and a fence. The gate is closed. Perhaps the church is now closed to the public.
