★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had iphones almost completely refurbished, screens fixed, batteries replaced, and all kinds of computer issues fixed by Centro Telefonia for over twelve years. They are very reasonable cost wise, very quick, and are able to work miracles on telephones that look irrecoverable. They will honestly tell you if things are not able to be repaired. They also sell refurbished computers with great specs at reasonable and low prices. A great service. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As tourists, our adaptor unfortunately suddenly died on us which led us to need to make a last minute purchase of an adaptor before we left Florence. We acknowledged that shops near tourist attractions such as the Basilica might charge slightly higher than average, but as we had no choice, we decided to purchase one without much thought from this shop we randomly stumbled upon.
The purchase was on 14 March and we tried it only at night in Rome, only to find out the adapter did not work at all. We doubted our own chargers and cables but realised it was the adapter that wasn’t working after getting ANOTHER adapter from another shop. As seen in the photos, the adapter light (which should signal power) is not on even though plugged into the socket. As we had a bus to catch that night, it was not possible for us to try it out before leaving Florence.
This adapter was given to us straight from the glass cabinet, and who knows how long it has been sitting there. On hindsight, it was our fault for not asking for a test in the shop itself before we left. However, it is also the owner’s duty to make sure all products sold are working fine and well.
It’s highly disappointing for such an event to happen because we weren’t able to charge our items at all. It caused stress, frustration and anger as it is 8 euros wasted and affected our devices for the next day.
Would not recommend this shop, because you wouldn’t know if the product you’re getting works or not. Who knows, even if it works in the shop, it might not last long because the product might be so old such as ours.
Would give 0 stars but 1 was the minimum…
