Parte dell'architettura fu realizzata da architetti locali tra cui Luigi Angelini, Giovanni Muzio, ed Ernesto Suardo. Il centro è diventano uno snodo economico e finanziario importante nonché un punto turistico di rilievo.
The Piacentiniano Center is an urban architectural complex of Bergamo located in the lower part of the city born from a project of 1907 as a business and tertiary center of the Orobic city with buildings suitable for housing both financial, commercial and administrative buildings, taking its name from its main designer Marcello Piacentini. Part of the architecture was done by local architects including Luigi Angelini, Giovanni Muzio, and Ernesto Suardo. The center has become an important economic and financial hub as well as an important tourist point.
