★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La fontana progettata dall’architetto Aldo Piantanida, in marmo di Zandobbio è del 1953. Dopo otto anni dalla Liberazione, la città di Bergamo aveva voluto intitolarla ad Antonio Locatelli, figura importante dell’Aviazione nel Ventennio fascista.
Si trova a pochi passi dalla Funicolare che porta a Bergamo Alta.
The fountain designed by the architect Aldo Piantanida, in Zandobbio marble, dates back to 1953. After eight years from the Liberation, the city of Bergamo had wanted to name it after Antonio Locatelli, an important figure of the Air Force in the Fascist period.
It is located a few steps from the funicular that leads to Bergamo Alta.
