★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great way to ascend to the Citta Alta. We had time left on our last day so made an impromptu trip here. It was worth it. The bus ticket is accepted on this train so it was effectively free. There are two funicular railways which take you to the top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unprofessional workers, they didn’t organise the queues, didn’t control if people were wearing FFP2 facemasks (which is compulsory in public transport), and didn’t control if people were validating tickets to go on the funicular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great way to reach to Citta Alta town centre. Will cost you €1.50 and only a short wait for a very scenic ride to the town up top. Tickets are valid for 45 minute after validation.
Seating is limited and only small carriages, but the trip is very quick and smooth.
If you wish to walk you can walk around the city to the north entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price is high for the service offered, the cable car takes not even 2 mins to go up or to come down and the price for ticket is 2.60€. On weekends it's quite packed and long queues, there's one ride every 20-30 mins or so and it can get tiring especially if you have kids with you. There should be a ride every 5 mins max if there are queues but they don't really care.
