 The funicular stop at the Sacro monte. At about 10 minutes there is the center of the hamlet. There are numerous bars and qlc trattoria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guter Parkplatz. Man fährt im Bus zur Standseilbahn. Im Bus wird das Ticket von 1.40 Euro gelöst. Dafür pro Person das Kleingeld bereit halten. Nur Münzgeldzahlung möglich. Toller Blick dann in das Tal.
Good parking lot. You take the bus to the funicular. The ticket for 1.40 euros is purchased on the bus. Have the change ready for each person. Only coin payment possible. Great view then into the valley.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De funiculare is een leuke manier om naar de Sacro monte di Varese te gaan. Maar niet eenvoudig als je alleen naar google kijkt. Die geeft nl. het EINDpunt weer. Niet zo handig. Je moet navigeren naar Parcheggio Sacro Monte. Daar kun je parkeren en 1200 meter lopen naar het onderstation Vellone. Of je neemt voor 40ct de bus (1,40 voor enkeltje bus + Funiculare)
The funiculare is a fun way to get to the Sacro monte di Varese. But not easy if you just look at google. This shows the END point. Not so handy. You have to navigate to Parcheggio Sacro Monte. You can park there and walk 1200 meters to the Vellone substation. Or you take the bus for 40ct (1.40 for one-way bus + Funiculare)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Standseilbahn fährt zwischen 10 und 19 Uhr alle 10 Minuten und ist mit 1 Euro pro Fahrt ausgesprochen günstig verglichen mit ähnlichen Bahnen in Deutschland. Mitgefahren bin ich allerdings nicht. Wir waren mit dem Auto auf dem Berg. An normalen Wochentagen ist der Parkplatz kostenfrei.
Funicular runs every 10 minutes between 10 and 19 o'clock and is very cheap with 1 euro per journey compared to similar railways in Germany. I did not ride. We were on the mountain by car. On normal weekdays the parking is free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El pequeño funicular del Sacromonte te acerca al final del camino de ese monumento dedicado al rezo del Rosario, que se puede hacer subiendo, o bajando. Imprescindible visitar El Santuario con un altar dedicado a la virgen realmente espectacular. Si pasas por Varese, vale la pena hacer una visita, no lleva mucho tiempo, y resulta sorprendente, además se pueden tener unas preciosas vistas de los montes cercanos, y del lago de Varese.
The small Sacromonte funicular brings you to the end of the path of that monument dedicated to the prayer of the Rosary, which can be done going up or down. It is essential to visit El Santuario with an altar dedicated to the truly spectacular Virgin. If you pass through Varese, it is worth a visit, it does not take long, and it is surprising, in addition you can have beautiful views of the nearby mountains, and of Lake Varese.
