The check was wrong and we couldn’t pay with cards, because of a problem of the restaurant’s bank.
What a pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the top of sacro monte (sacred mountain) sits this restaurant... nestled in the sunshine is a beautiful seated terrace hanging off the mountain with fantastic views. Great well-priced food & drinks. Adored by native Italians & tourists alike. A must visit place if you are in the neighbourhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Back in October 2021, nice eatery after a long walk up to Sacro Monte from the centre of Varese! The 180 degree view is spectacular from the terrace. This is no frills, but food is abundant and tasty and all reasonably priced. Service was good and quick and waitress was polite and friendly. Very happy to see water served in a glass bottle and not a plastic one. Worth a visit!
