O	Orfeo Tracio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci siamo fermati qui di passaggio, dopo che qualcuno ci aveva detto "non esistono più trattorie nel varesotto". FALSO! Ecco una vera trattoria: prezzi popolari (primo, secondo, dolce, mezzo litro di buon barbera e amaro 20 euro), servizio alla mano ma attento e portate buone e abbondanti. Consigliatissimo! We stopped here in passing, after someone had told us "there are no more trattorias in the Varese area". FALSE! Here is a real trattoria: popular prices (first, second, sweet, half a liter of good barbera and bitter 20 euros), easy-going but attentive service and good and abundant dishes. Highly recommended!

La cucina è semplice e il menù è ristretto, segno di qualità e grande cura nella preparazione e negli ingredienti. Dall'antipasto al dolce non c'è un piatto che non valga la pena assaggiare, direi che ogni singola pietanza che propongono è il loro piatto forte. Grandi, continuate così. It is a small place run by exquisite people located in a quiet area outside the center of Varese. The cuisine is simple and the menu is restricted, a sign of quality and great care in preparation and ingredients. From appetizer to dessert there is not a dish that is not worth tasting, I would say that every single dish they offer is their strong point. Great, keep it up.

Sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dalla camera da poco ristrutturata e con arredi molto eleganti ( lo stesso vale per i sanitari). Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del pernottamento, pertanto lo consiglio vivamente. Staff of an education and a sensational cordiality. I was pleasantly surprised by the recently renovated room with very elegant furnishings (the same goes for the bathroom fixtures). We were very happy with the overnight stay, so I highly recommend it.

Il posto è un po' piccolo però tutte le volte che sono arrivato a mezzogiorno ci hanno sempre trovato posto senza lunghe attese. Unica pecca il parcheggio, c'è da cercarlo un po' ma ne vale la pena. Excellent in all respects, fixed piece business lunch of quality and good quantity of food, very good availability and friendliness of those who work there. The place is a bit small but every time I arrived at noon they always found us a place without long waits. The only flaw is the parking, you have to look for it a bit but it's worth it.

Non meno importante anche l’ottimo prezzo, se passate da Sant’Ambrogio una sosta qui è d’obbligo! In this place you feel at home, the kindness and friendliness of the staff are unmatched and the dishes are excellent: from appetizer to dessert, every single course is perfect! Whether it's for a quick but still delicious lunch, or for dinner, you will always leave the Vecchia Osteria satisfied! No less important is the excellent price, if you pass by Sant’Ambrogio, a stop here is a must!
