Si sale da Arco per il sentiero 667 - sentiero della Maestra - impiegando all'incirca 45 minuti. Vicino alle ex Cave c'è anche un angolo picnic. Portatevi la fotocamera, perché ne vale la pena. The high oolite quarries of Arco are a beautiful tourist attraction and are located at the Case ex Caproni. You go up from Arco along path 667 - path of the Maestra - taking about 45 minutes. There is also a picnic corner near the former quarries. Bring your camera, because it's worth it.
P	Primo Cassol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inserite nel “Bosco Caproni”, immerse in un bel lecceto (il più settentrionale d'Europa), tra olivi e castagni, si trovano le gallerie di scavo di “Oolite”, pietra “statuaria” e da costruzione. L'attività di coltivazione delle cave iniziò probabilmente agli inizi dell'ottocento e proseguì fino agli inizi del novecento. Rimangono sul territorio le gallerie scavate nel Dosso di Vastrè, visitabili attraverso un percorso sicuro e molto affascinante. Alla sommità del tragitto esiste un'area di sosta – pic nic e alcune costruzioni che originariamente ospitavano le maestranze impiegate. Inserted in the "Bosco Caproni", immersed in a beautiful holm oak forest (the northernmost in Europe), among olive and chestnut trees, there are the excavation galleries of "Oolite", "statuary" and construction stone. The quarrying activity probably started in the early nineteenth century and continued until the early twentieth century. The tunnels excavated in the Dosso di Vastrè remain on the territory and can be visited through a safe and very fascinating route. At the top of the route there is a picnic area and some buildings that originally housed the workers employed.

Le cave sono impressionanti.in parte sono state riconvertite a vie per i climbers che si divertono a percorrerle a testa in giù Interesting naturalistic path immersed in a wood that guarantees shelter from the sun even in hot periods. The quarries are impressive, in part they have been converted into routes for climbers who enjoy taking them upside down

Alle Cave alte ci si arriva parcheggiando a località Molette e prendendo il "sentiero della Maestra" oppure da Arco seguendo le indicazioni Bosco Caproni e parcheggiare alla falesia Policromuro The quarries, where the easily workable olite stone was extracted from which statues or water pipes were made, are located inside Bosco Caproni in Arco. You can get to the high quarries by parking in Molette and taking the "path of the Maestra" or from Arco following the signs for Bosco Caproni and park at the Policromuro cliff
G	Giovanna Peroni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suggestivo luogo lungo il percorso del bosco Caproni. Qui veniva estratta a mano fino ad inizio 900 la pietra statuaria. Suggestive place along the Caproni forest path. Here the statuary stone was extracted by hand until the early 1900s.
D	Davide Corti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Che posti. Veramente particolari ed affascinanti. Dopo la visita alle miniere abbiamo completato il giro "ad anello" visitando le trincee. Proprio una bella gita. Noi l'abbiamo fatta con due bimbi (3 e 10 anni). A metà percorso abbiamo fatto un picnic (ci sono dei tavoli con le panche). Il sentiero non è impegnativo ma nemmeno proprio semplice. Ci sono pezzi ripidi con sassi che si muovono e a tratti scivolosi. Consiglio scarpe da montagna o scarponcini. Niente bici e niente passeggini. What places. Really special and fascinating. After the visit to the mines we completed the "ring" tour by visiting the trenches. Such a nice outing. We did it with two children (3 and 10 years old). Halfway through we had a picnic (there are tables with benches). The path is not demanding but not really simple either. There are steep parts with rocks that move and sometimes slippery. I recommend mountain shoes or boots. No bikes and no strollers.

A	Anja Stenning on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible to see the old stone quarry and nice views from the house of the original owner at the top. The various info boards along the way are very good. Also a fabulous place to watch rock climbers or climb yourself, as there are over 80 designated rock climbing routes on the mountain.
