All'interno del bosco ci sono dei sentieri che in parte seguono una trincea della prima guerra mondiale con dei bellissimi scorci sulla valle del Sarca, e in altri punti costeggiano o passano all'interno delle cave di olite, da dove veniva estratta la pietra, che essendo facilmente lavorabile, veniva scolpita per ricavare statue o tubazioni per condotte dell'acqua. Mettendosi in contatto con la Sat di Arco è possibile concordare delle visite guidate
Very beautiful and interesting place. Inside the wood there are paths that partly follow a trench of the First World War with beautiful views of the Sarca valley, and in other points they skirt or pass inside the olite quarries, from where the stone was extracted. which, being easily workable, was sculpted to obtain statues or pipes for water pipes.
