Visitata in un momento in cui erano presenti opere prestate da altre enti culturali e non era presenti più di 15 opere! Visitatori stranieri, attirati dalle locandine e che conoscevano l'artista, molto delusi Dedicated to Segantini ... poor show with very few works by the artist. Visited at a time when there were works lent by other cultural institutions and there were not more than 15 works! Spiegazioni chiare con numerosi riferimenti Molto interessanti le sezioni sulla preistoria e sul periodo delle guerre mondiali. Il Personale é molto gentile ed accogliente. It is interesting to make a quick visit to the museum where you will find some works by Segantini and his contemporaries, not to forget the vision of the film to deepen the life of the painter born in Arco. Con il progetto Segantini la galleria che fa parte del Mag (museo alto Garda) collabora anche con il Mart e fa di Arco un luogo segantiniano d'eccellenza. Nella sede della Galleria sono esposti dipinti disegni stampe e sculture documenti relativi a Giovanni Segantini. E tutto questo si integra con un ricco allestimento multimediale che consente di ricostruire anche la vita del grande pittore dall'infanzia infelice fino alla maturità e alla morte, grazie ad un filmato interpretato magistralmente da Filippo Timi. In questo momento la galleria ospita la mostra Segantini e la Brianza che racconta gli anni spensierati vissuti con la moglie Bice prima del trasferimento in Engadina dove morirà a soli 41 anni. The Segantini Civic Gallery in Arco has been recently renovated and the route revised thanks to a project curated by an authority in the sector which is the architect Michelangelo Lupo. With the Segantini project, the gallery that is part of the Mag (Alto Garda museum) also collaborates with the Mart and makes Arco a Segantinian place of excellence. Paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures, documents relating to Giovanni Segantini are exhibited in the gallery. And all this is integrated with a rich multimedia exhibition that allows you to reconstruct the life of the great painter from unhappy childhood to maturity and death, thanks to a film masterfully interpreted by Filippo Timi. At this moment the gallery is hosting the Segantini e la Brianza exhibition which recounts the carefree years spent with his wife Bice before moving to the Engadine where he will die at the age of 41.
