Si può notare nel presbiterio un prezioso coro ligneo intagliato, costruito nel 1539 dal benedettino Antonio Maria Sertorio. La sua costruzione ebbe inizio nel XI secolo ad opera del Vescovo Guglielmo secondo una struttura basilicale a tre navate suddivise da due file di colonne. Il magnifico Ambone Cosmatesco con colonne poggianti su leoni stilofori, due delle quali sono tortili, è stato ricostruito dopo i danni subiti da un incendio sviluppatosi nel 1608 ed ancora restaurato nel periodo post-bellico. Di un paziente restauro, dopo l’evento bellico, necessitarono anche gli stalli del Coro, operato dagli intagliatori di Sorrento che aggiunsero al presbiterio la Cattedra Episcopale, ed un prezioso Crocifisso ligneo, dipinto trecentesco attribuito a Roberto Oderisi, ritrovato tra le macerie del bombardamento. Esso è stato collocato al centro del presbiterio in una scenografica posizione pendente. Nella seconda metà del XVIII secolo, su iniziativa del vescovo Giuseppe Martino del Pozzo, nella navata laterale destra fu costruito il Cappellone di San Paride, a croce greca, sul modello della Cappella del Tesoro di San Gennaro, a Napoli. In essa sono deposte, in un’urna sotto l’altare, le spoglie del santo. Alle pareti vi sono pregevoli tele di Francesco De Mura ed ai piedi dell’altare è una statua di San Paride che calpesta il dragone. La cripta della Cattedrale ospita sculture, epigrafi e l'antica tomba di San Paride. Vi è anche una cisterna di età romana. Dedicated first in S. In the second half of the eighteenth century, at the initiative of Bishop Joseph Martino del Pozzo, in the right aisle it was built the Chapel of St. Paris, a Greek cross, on the model of the Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro in Naples. In it were deposited in an urn beneath the altar, the saint's remains. On the walls there are precious paintings by Francesco De Mura and at the altar is a statue of San Paride trampling the dragon. The cathedral crypt houses sculptures, inscriptions and the ancient tomb of St. Paris. There is also a Roman-age cistern.
