β β β β β Gorgeous place. From Florence you can only access it by 1hr direct bus then walk for 15m. To see it in entirety you must pay β¬20, so it's more like museum than church

β β β β β Gorgeous monument with great historical value. Beautiful to look at and study about. The 8β¬ ticket to just the Dome is worth it. Even if you donβt go to the library or the Porta del Cielo. Very well worth the visit no matter how mainstream it seems. I would go back any time, even the next day I just been. Make sure to read up about the arts or listen to the audio guides.

β β β β β The most important architecture of Siena. If you ever visit Siena, you must definitely see this beautiful Cathedral. If you buy 13 euro tickets, you will have access to the cathedral, library inside the cathedral, baptist house, museo dell'Opera. In the museum, don't forget to take the stairs to the top of the tower, so you can have a great panoramic view of the city.

β β β β β Impressive, overwhelming, indescribableβ¦ only superlatives to describe this wonderful cathedral! A must see when you visit Siena, obviously. We admired this cathedral during our visit to Siena in September 2021.
If you like to take nice pictures, itβs worth to go a little outside the city center where you can see the cathedral from a distance (go to Fortezza Medicea)

β β β β β The cathedral is so beautiful and so peaceful. I have also visited the library it was just okay and small but the museum β€ was incredible. Must go place while in siena.

β β β β β Easily one if the most beautiful buildings in Siena and one of the better cathedrals to visit. The interior is ornate and enormous. The attached museum is a must visit to truly appreciate Renaissance era Siena and the power this cathedral commanded. Tickets to enter are located just in front of the Cathedral.

β β β β β One of the most unique and beautiful cathedrals in Italy. Itβs known for itβs stunning dark green (looks black) and white marble. You need to purchase tickets to enter-unless you are going for mass. Mass is free. I recommend a skip the line pass so you can walk right in if itβs busy. I have seen a lot of cathedrals and this is right up there with St. Peters Basilica (Vatican).
