★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mitten im Herzen der Toskana liegt diese alte wundervolle Stadt. Durch ihr zu spazieren, ist wie das Eintauchen in ein anderes Jahrhundert. Da es manchmal etwas uneben ist, würde ich beim nächsten Besuch festes Schuhwerk anziehen.
 In the heart of Tuscany lies this wonderful old town. Walking through it is like dipping into another century. Since it is sometimes a bit rough, I would wear on the next visit sturdy shoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attualmente il tempio ha 2 facce: la facciata esterna che promette di immetterti in un mondo favoloso e l'interno asettico completamente bianco. alcune opere sono di buon spessore come il crocifisso e il pulpito.
Currently the temple has 2 faces: the external facade that promises to introduce you to a fabulous world and the completely white aseptic interior. some works are of good thickness such as the crucifix and the pulpit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camminando per belle e caratteristiche stradine di Colle Val D'Elsa, si arriva in Piazza del Duomo, dove so trova la Cattedrale. La chiesa è edificata su una cappella preesistente ed il maggiore luogo di culto della cittadina. L'edificio ha una pianta a croce latina a tre navate. La facciata è sobria ed essenziale in stile neoclassico. Anche l'interno è sobrio. Vi è un pulpito in marmo con dei bei bassorilievi e in organo a canne del 1555.
Troviamo anche un bel dipinto relativo all'ultima cena e un altare sul quale è conservato uno dei chiodi della croce di Cristo. Consiglio una visita.
Walking through the beautiful and characteristic streets of Colle Val D'Elsa, you arrive in Piazza del Duomo, where I find the Cathedral. The church is built on a pre-existing chapel and the main place of worship of the town. The building has a Latin cross plan with three naves. The façade is sober and essential in neoclassical style. Even the interior is sober. There is a marble pulpit with beautiful bas-reliefs and a pipe organ from 1555.
We also find a beautiful painting related to the last supper and an altar on which one of the nails of the cross of Christ is kept. I recommend a visit.
