Nicola è stato un grande padrone di casa, gentile, accorto e discreto. Ottimo il vino prodotto dai suoi vitigni. 5 stanze totali, privacy, contatti con i pochi altri ospiti praticamente assenti (che di questi tempi non guasta...). Appartamenti dotati di cucina, piscina adatta sia per nuotare sia per far giocare i bambini in sicurezza (la mia di 6 anni toccava perfettamente). Ideale per un week end romantico o per una famiglia con bambini. Grazie Nicola, torneremo a trovarti! Deserve. Castello di badia is not a 5-star resort, it is more. It is a place where you would like to stay forever. Nicola was a great host, kind, shrewd and discreet. Excellent wine produced from its vines. 5 total rooms, privacy, contacts with the few other guests practically absent (which these days is not bad ...). Apartments equipped with kitchen, swimming pool suitable for both swimming and for children to play safely (my 6 year old touched perfectly). Ideal for a romantic weekend or for a family with children. Thanks Nicola, we will come back to see you!

C	Craig Tamlin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such an awesome place, with a lengthy winding driveway up a steep mountainside, a drawbridge to cross upon entry, to an ancient castle over 1000 years old. Our suite was typical castle fare and loved every minute of being a part of something so grand and ancient. Nicola was a grand host, providing lots of good tourist information.
M	Marc Potter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh if only I could be standing outside of our Airbnb room looking over the ramparts drinking my glass of wine and smoking my cigarette and enjoying the view. I wish I could transport myself right now. The scene I describe is remarkably a typical morning if you can believe it. This is some place, A perfect location from which to take day trips to Siena, Volterra, and other historic towns. And the host Niccolo is so gracious and kind and welcoming. This is a real freaking castle with a drawbridge! I mean come on. It has an incredibly rich history. The Accommodations are more than adequate. We enjoyed the full kitchen with oven. The surroundings are extraordinarily beautiful. My husband and I had such a lovely time. We felt such a connection to history and nature. The town is charming. Good food is it easy to find. We really did have such a marvelous time. Thank you Niccolo. Thank you for sharing the tour of the castle at the end of our trip. Oh, and if you go, don’t miss the cute little kitties. They are sneaky and will try to slip in without you knowing but that’s OK. All part of the charm. This is the kind of place where you want to keep in touch, return often, and become part of the family.
