Beautiful sanctuary, very impressive the ceiling with hanging faces, a place of prayer and worship much appreciated by the people of Poggibonsese.

Voglio solo augurarmi di aver beccato la serata NO del pizzaiolo ma la pizza era proprio ai limiti della decenza. La pasta non era ben lievitata e la parte inferiore era anche parzialmente cruda. Molti di noi l'hanno lasciata in parte nel piatto. Gli ingredienti erano buoni ma tutto il resto: cottura e lievitazione lasciavano molto a desiderare. Spero solo, prima o poi, di digerirla. Buona serata e buon lavoro... I would never have wanted to do such a review but for intellectual honesty I really have to do it. I omit the wait of over an hour and a half. I just want to wish I had caught the NO pizzaiolo's evening but the pizza was right on the edge of decency. The dough was not well leavened and the lower part was also partially raw. Many of us have left it in part on the plate. The ingredients were good but all the rest: cooking and leavening left much to be desired. I just hope, sooner or later, to digest it. Good evening and good work ...

La Madonna della neve era un tabernacolo trecentesco e i Signori di Strozzavolpi vi costruirono il Santuario nel 500.Madonna dal volto soave che indossa una corona di oro bianco tempestata di pietre preziose (rubini e smeraldi grossi come nocciole). Nel retro dell'Altare sovrastato da un eccelso Christian Patiens del 400,si può visitare una galleria di immagini dal 300 ai giorni nostri che illustrano i miracoli compiuti dalla Madonna del Romito,circonfusa da una nube cilestrina. Nell'aula,in alto,tutti gli ex voto in carta pesta,offerti dai miracolati ad honorem Virginia:tibie, ginocchia,omeri e piedi!! Visione da non perdere!!
