La costruzione risale al 1400 con successi restauri.
La facciata è in stile neoclassico.
L'interno è ad unica navata, a pianta longitudinale in stile neoclassico.
Le caratteristiche che lo rendono molto bello sono:

The cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is located in the historic center of Valdobbiadene.
The building dates back to 1400 with successful restorations.
The facade is in neoclassical style.
The interior has a single nave, with a longitudinal plan in a neoclassical style.
The features that make it very beautiful are:
- the majestic entrance with columns
- works by París Bordón
- works by Palma the Younger

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo duomo è il simbolo di Valdobbiadene città, famosa per il prosecco, e il principale luogo di culto cattolico, si trova direttamente nella piazza principale.
All’interno della Cattedrale si trovano preziose opere d’arte. Un esempio è la Pala dell’Assunta di Beccaruzzi, la pala della Vergine e i Santi Sebastiano e Rocco di Paris Bordon.
La prima citazione risale al 1297 ma l'attuale duomo fu edificato tra il 1790 ed il 1799 mentre il campanile alto 70 metri fu costruito tra il 1743 ed il 1767
This cathedral is the symbol of Valdobbiadene city, famous for prosecco, and the main place of Catholic worship, is located directly in the main square.
Inside the Cathedral there are precious works of art. An example is the Altarpiece of the Assumption by Beccaruzzi, the altarpiece of the Virgin and Saints Sebastian and Rocco by Paris Bordon.
The first mention dates back to 1297 but the current cathedral was built between 1790 and 1799 while the 70 meter high bell tower was built between 1743 and 1767
