β β β β β This is a nice-looking castle from the outside although fairly small. The main challenge is extremely difficult to get in. They only do small tours of 20 people at a time and there are often far more that waiting outside.
The tours are also only in Italian, and at least according to the sign you have to stay with the group, you can't just run wild.
So if you were visiting the ruins next door, it's worth walking over to take a look at the quaint little homes outside of the castle. And then just head on back to the train station.

β β β β β The ticket was 3 euros but we got nothing in return. Some areas were closed and the posts were all in italian. The view from the terrance is not great at all.

β β β β β Unlike for everyone else...it was open.
However all the staff only spoke Italian.
And most people waiting to get in where not.
Once in we had to wear, without explanation, a hard hat?
The "tour" was in Italian, no one inderstood, all the signs are also Italian, no one could read.
As a "tourist" attraction clearly post covid you think they would make an effort to encourage a growth in tourism..the main industry is these here parts....

β β β β β A neat castle to visit. You walk around the main roof, but the higher tower roof was closed. It still gave a great view.. Most of the exhibitions were pottery, and all of the explanations were only in Italian. Free on the first Sunday of every month.

β β β β β It looks great from the outside and you can get the best pictures if you stand next to the church, but I couldnβt find any information about tickets, open hours or even if it is possible to visit this place.
