★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place had incredible food, great service, and a beautiful location. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is near Ostia Antica, it's definitely worth the stop. Great bread, antipasta, wine, fresh pasta and dessert. They speak great english too for those of us that aren't native.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After touring the ruins of Ostia Antica, my friends and I decided to try a local restaurant before heading back to Rome. The service was impeccable, the staff was super friendly, and the owner spoke perfect English! They were so happy to serve us despite being tourists/students studying abroad.
I knew I was going to enjoy our service when the owner jokingly told my friend that “Moscato isn’t wine”!
The food was incredible and the setting was so beautiful next to the Castel with flowering vines growing along the walls. They even brought out shots of Amaro on the house before we left! Definitely want to visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place to be a quiet escape from the restaurants of Rome. Plates run from about 10€. The waiters were courteous and professional and gave recommendations for dishes. The food tasted delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended. Wonderful family restaurant located just off the courtyard of the castle, tucked into an alleyway rich with atmosphere and ambiance. Antonio greets and seats people like they are family, and the food is fabulous. I had spaghetti and clams as my only plate and enjoyed it completely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antonio, Arianna and the entire restaurant team made our dinner remarkable and personal. The meal courses were detailed presented and the flavors were richly perfected in every ingredient. It turned out, the last meal in Italy was the best meal experience overall by far.
