Alzate lo sguardo verso gli unici cipressi piazzati a semicerchio, non potete sbagliare le rovine sono li in cima alla collina Ruins of the castle, the location on google is not very exact. Quassù immersi nella natura un tempo sorgeva il castello della famiglia Tarlati, di cui oggi rimangono pochi ruderi. Vale la pena fare quella bella scarpinata, non è una passeggiata. Salire e discese scoscese non mancano. Entertainment, a step back in history, to our origins and the powers that ruled the city. Up here, immersed in nature, once stood the castle of the Tarlati family, of which only a few ruins remain today. It's worth the hike, it's not a walk. Climbing and steep descents are not lacking.

Affascinante immergersi nella storia di Arezzo. The place is not very easy to reach except by suitable means for the mule tracks or on foot, when you are there you wonder how they lived there. Fascinating to immerse yourself in the history of Arezzo.

Non rimane granché del castello dei tarlati, a parte qualche basamento e "buco" di ingresso delle cisterne. Non consiglio di camminarci in prossimità in quanto si notano avvallamenti, forse dovuti a cedimenti della struttura sotterranea. Google maps porta solo fino alla lapide commemorativa dell'eccidio di pietramala (seconda guerra mondiale), dopodiché abbiamo seguito le indicazioni di un altro esploratore che aveva recentemente recensito il luogo, ossia abbiamo raggiunto il gruppo dei cipressi seguendo il quasi inesistente sentiero in salita. Unsurprisingly, these ruins are not marked with signs of any kind. Not much remains of the worm-eaten castle, apart from a few basements and "holes" for the entrance to the cisterns. I do not recommend walking near it as there are depressions, perhaps due to subsidence of the underground structure. Google maps leads only to the commemorative plaque of the massacre of pietramala (World War II), after which we followed the directions of another explorer who had recently reviewed the place, that is, we reached the group of cypresses following the almost non-existent uphill path.
