Historic castle of the noble Montauto family, of great interest from many points of view, landscape, architectural, cultural. From here St. Francis of Assisi passed and here he left the cassock now preserved in La Verna in homage to his protectors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antico castello posto sulla vetta di una aspra montagnola. In discreto stato di conservazione, non è, purtroppo, visitabile all'interno se non su prenotazione ed in rare ricorrenze.
Ancient castle located on the summit of a rugged mountain. In a fairly good state of conservation, it cannot, unfortunately, be visited inside unless by reservation and on rare occasions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This landmark of the past brings back all of the beautiful history that the region went through in its history. The magnificent sightseeing leaves a mark on any man and woman that as a taste for the pretty.
Welcomed by the Barbolani family, the castle feels as warm and welcoming as the Mediterranean breeze that caresses your skin.
The only bad thing that could be said, is that lack of people seeing this beauty of a place.
