★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello normanno di Ariano con annesso il museo è una VERGOGNA!!!!!!Sono arrivata sino qui da Venezia per sentirmi dire che era chiuso per restauro mentre su internet c'era scritto che apriva alle 10.30.non avrei pernottato e sarei andata direttamente a Benevento,città che ho trovato pulita ,ordinata e molto interessante
 The Norman castle of Ariano with the adjoining museum is a SHAME !!!!!! I came up here from Venice to be told that it was closed for restoration while on the internet it was written that it opened at 10.30. directly in Benevento, a city that I found clean, tidy and very interesting

Non è possibile visitare il sito, né il museo al suo interno, perché il Comune non ha provveduto negli anni alla sua conservazione. Il museo è chiuso a causa di infiltrazioni di acqua. Resta comunque affascinante passeggiarvi lungo il viale che lo circonda e la Villa Comunale che lo ospita.
Prestigious castle, located in the highest part of the town. It is not possible to visit the site, nor the museum inside, because the Municipality has not provided for its conservation over the years. The museum is closed due to water infiltration. However, it is still fascinating to walk along the avenue that surrounds it and the Villa Comunale that hosts it.
