★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo trovato questo alloggio il giorno prima di Capodanno, un miracolo direi e soprattutto pagato 35€ colazione inclusa. Faccio presente che il convento sorge nel pieno centro di Firenze e per tanto raggiungere i luoghi di aggregazione e festa é davvero molto semplice. Sorgendo oltretutto in una zona tranquilla non vi sono problemi di sicurezza nel tornare ad orari notturni.
La mia personale esperienza per tanto si può ritenere più che positiva. Arrivati di fatto in convento siamo stati subito accolti dalla receptionist, anche lei suora, che ci ha fatto tutti i controlli del caso, compreso il Green Pass. Subito dopo ci ha accompagnato nei nostri alloggi ma non prima di mostrarci durante il percorso le bellezze del convento come librerie e tavoli antichi.
La nostra stanza era parecchio grande in quanto pensata per molti più letti. La pulizia non é stata per nulla messa in secondo piano ed i letti erano lindi. Faccio anche i complimenti per il sistema doccia che é stato adattato per avere acqua calda costante.
Come detto prima l'indomani ci ha aspettato la colazione, nulla di eclatante ma vi erano le giuste cose come acqua calda per il thè e latte e caffè per gli arditi. Brioches e merendine hanno accompagnato il mio thè.
Esperienza unica e da ripetere.
We found this accommodation the day before New Year's Eve, a miracle I would say and above all paid € 35 including breakfast. I would like to point out that the convent is located in the heart of Florence and therefore reaching the places of aggregation and celebration is really very simple. Moreover, being located in a quiet area there are no safety problems in returning to night hours.
My personal experience can therefore be considered more than positive. Having actually arrived at the convent we were immediately greeted by the receptionist, also a nun, who made all the necessary checks for us, including the Green Pass. Immediately after, he accompanied us to our lodgings but not before showing us the beauties of the convent along the way, such as bookcases and antique tables.
Our room was quite large as it was designed for many more beds. Cleanliness was not at all overshadowed and the beds were neat. I also compliment the shower system which has been adapted to have constant hot water.
As said before, breakfast was waiting for us the next day, nothing sensational but there were the right things like hot water for tea and milk and coffee for the hardy. Croissants and snacks accompanied my tea.
Unique experience and to be repeated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an oasis of calm...We literally FELL through the big doors into this cool, calm convent hostel. Fantastic location too. But impossible to park, garage just around the corner can store one's vehicle, at a price. The sisters were lovely and very helpful. Perfect stay. Many thanks
