Casa Mia in Trastevere Roma

Stayed here before Covid kicked off. What I liked it that it’s not just a hotel but a serious restaurant as well. There is a sense of liveliness and purpose.

I had a great time in Casa Mia in Trastevere, the rooms were big and clean. Dinner at their restaurant was amazing.

I booked 2 nights for a deluxe room in June 2020 at a cost of 484 Eur. It was not possible to go at this time because of Covid, so the hotel kept my booking (and money) until we could make it in October 2021. The place could not be more disappointing. The room is small and dark, there is no hot water. The noise at night from the restaurant clientele and music is incredible and sleep is not an option. Twice I was told "Laura" the manager would help, but she never did. After one night we checked out and went to another hotel. To charge this amount for 2 nights for such a room is a disgrace. Complained to booking.com and refused any refund, Laura below offered 3 free nights....well Laura that's like offering to punch me for free, why would I want to stay again?

Even though we were way to early for Italien principles, we could sit in the beautiful yard and we had a delicious meal all by ourselves. ☺️ Friendly servants, good food and pretty entourage!

Great experience, wonderful food, amazing atmosphere, and very welcoming staff. Pierre is a city favorite, always has a smile on his face and great with everyone. Can't beat this restaurant. Doesn't compare to any other, must go! I'll definitely will be returning! Thx Pierre!

We got room on the ground floor, because it was only one which was available. It is room for disabled person. We didnt know, and there is no information about it, that window from this room is exactly that window, which is connect to the restaurant of our accommodation. We asked about another room because of noise, but there was no other available. We had to get up early, so we needed rest and sleep. Guy from reception gave us 2 glasses of prosecco and said that in half and hour they are closong (it was 23:30). We were okay with that, it was nice. Unfortunately, it was so loud still after 1am, that we had to go to them and ask again to make something about it. The restaurant was closed, but people from staff had really nice party with loud music. We went to sleep about 2am, after they stopped making noises with cleaning after long day. It is really annoying, that you cant sleep in the middle of the night. Also, there is bathroom also prepared for person with disability, so there is shower without anything but hole in the ground. It would be okay, if you dont have to stop the water from going under the door to the room. We had to put towels, but it was not enough. Also, there is information in reception that you have to wait a few minutes to get hot water. We waited almost 15, there was no hot water at all. I dont recommend this place anymore. This was our second time there, at first time we get lucky, this time it was just really bad. If owners want to have restaurant and bar, they should think how to make the rooms quiet. Or if they cant provide this, they should put information that you can find yourself in situation, where you cant sleep normally. We asked about refund and get only 20 € instead 100.

Amazing dinner. Every bit was great - first to the last. When asking the hotel staff what was the best restaurant for my last meal in Rome, without question they said the Casa Mia in Trastevere. Did NOT disappoint. Will be on the top of the list when we return.
