★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20 Minutes for the waiter to take drinks order (1 wine, 1 coke, 2 beers) 1 beer didn't show up, took a further 15 minutes to arrive, then food order was finally taken, 1 starter arrived followed by the rest 10 minutes later. Then main courses arrived 1.5 hours later. 4 steaks... Shame we ordered 3 and a pizza. Pizza eventually arrived after the rest of us finished our meals. Excuses made about ordering the main as starters etc... Service appalling. Do not eat here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The wordst pizza ever. The pasta was very good though, although the portion was quite small. Beers and everything else really overpriced - around 5-6 EUR if I remember right. They should consider lowering the prices off-season when there are 10 people on the entire island of Vulcano and the restaurant is literally empty :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked in with a good feeling. Nice terrace looking over the bay. The menus looked a bit grimy and old but whatever, we were hungry. We ordered a vongole, another pasty which name I forgot, and a pizza. Prices were a bit steep, but still I had good hope on well made Italian food. The drama started with the beer I ordered on the side which tasted really odd.. Had never had this weird taste with beer, maybe the keg was over due? After waiting a bit, which I don’t mind, the pastas came. But no sign of the pizza... They sad it would take to 2 minutes for the pizza to arrive. No big of a deal because we shared the plates, but still annoying. After we finished the pastas the pizza still wasn’t there! So the pizza came as a kind of a dessert haha. The food was not that bad, but still had much much better this vacation and for way better value for money. The restaurant was on coming in at 3 stars at this point. But when I went to the toilet after finishing eating I say a giant COCKROACH walking around. Definitely lost a star there!! Not the best place to recommend on the island.
