★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food ok, mussels in seafood pasta were shrivelled so I'd guess not fresh. 12euros for half litre carafe of house wine not cheap. Then they added 8euros to the bill called "varie" which waiter said was not service charge but local tax; nowhere else this week in Venice has charged us this. All in all we didn't feel valued as a customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap. We ordered spaghetti with speck and bacon and calamari. Spaghetti was tasteless and the calamari tasted like rubber. Service was slow. Nice setting along the canal but it doesn't justify horrible food for €48. Italian chain restaurants in the UK are better than this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful time here on our last evening in Venice. The spritz were absolutely perfect, the service was so good (Tomas our waiter was the perfect host) and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an evening aperitivo. Sadly we could not leave a gratuity on card and had no cash for a tip, (bring cash as the service is worth it) but we will be back in the future for sure! Grazie!
