★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurants in this area are hit or miss given the touristic environment. This one did okay. We live in Italy so the prices in Venice always surprise us, much higher! The portions however were worth it. We had the polenta and shrimp to start; husband enjoyed! Then I had standard Ragù which was delicious and husband had spaghetti with clams; really enjoyed the flavor and large portion. Spaghetti was cooked perfectly Al dente. The establishment itself is fun, needs a big time dust cleaning session though. Overall, the service was decent, the food good, and a nice lunch date.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant has a simple decor. The food was very fresh and tasty. Compared to other restaurants in Venice it's fairly cheap for dinner as you can see in my uploaded pictures. The waiter spoke good English and was attentive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had just arrived in Venice and were beginning our explorations. We stumbled across Antica Osteria with tables set up outside in the sun and stopped for a spritz and a quick bite to eat. The staff was very friendly and the pizza we ordered to go with our spritz was the first perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good local place to lunch on the way to Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Placed a little out of standard roads and usual crowd in a quiet neighborhood.
Simple, but good dishes at reasonable prices. Service was fast. Dog accepted. Recommended.
