β β β β β We stayed at the this hotel for 3 nights in April 2019. What an incredible hotel this is, from check in to check out. Alice at Reception gave us a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The free phone was a bonus and helped us navigate around the streets. Special mention to Alessandra in the Breakfast Room, her service was impeccable and she went beyond the call of duty for us when we had an early start one morning. The Spa downstairs in the 13th Century Basement was a wonderful place to finish the night - Cold night, Hot Tub for our aching feet - bliss. The room was amazing - bright, airy and really comfortable. We were so happy we stayed there and cant wait to go back on day.

β β β β β Chic hotel with an amazing staff and free breakfast. That's the good. The bad:
- the bed was horribly uncomfortable, broken springs and caving into the middle
- there was a strong sewage smell. There are some places I Florence where the sewage smell is particularly strong. This hotel seems to reside on top of one. The hotel seems to be aware as they attempted to cover it with a strong smelling cleaner, but it only made it worse. Fortunately, the smell does not permeate into the rooms, but the moment you step out, it was bad.
- when it's functioning, the elevator is competing for the slowest on earth
The staff almost made up for the bad. They are kind, helpful, and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They have great recommendations for where to eat.

β β β β β Took 15 min to walk from the trainstation to this place. Being in a side street it was a quiet atmosphere, but still central. Very small rooms with the standard hard Italian madrasses. Extremely nice service both in reception and bar, and the staff made the little extra ll the way - love it! An ok gymroom, with changing rooms and shower, but without very good aircondition. We tried the hottub and steamsauna as well, seemed clean and fine, one just have to book time so it does not collide with other guests as it no more than 4 at the time. Would easily consider this hotel again just for the location and staff.

β β β β β We enjoyed our stay very much. Three person junior suite was very large and had a wonderful courtyard view. The morning breakfast was perfect for starting the day and the woman taking care of breakfast was truly lovely. She was all smiles for everyone every morning.

β β β β β We had an awesome time at the Borghese Art Hotel the staff were very helpful they went above and beyond. The breakfast was excellent the service was very welcoming, all staff spoke English at the Hotel . Location was fantastic close to everything. The spa was very relaxing great atmosphere. The Manager Paolo Ferrero was extremely helpful when we had issues with our transfers. Could not ask for better service. Highly Recommended :) Kim D Australia

β β β β β Very small room, full of mosquitos, you hear everything that happens in the near rooms, the place has a lot of space for breakfast but due to covid they decided to bring packed food to the room (not very comfortable). If restaurants can ensure social distancing this hotel should be able to do so. Only good thing was the location.

β β β β β Nice hotel but room for improvement. The hotel is a bit old and it shows. Bathroom was a bit small and water pressure was horrible. Rooms ran pretty hot but opening the window helped.
Breakfast was nothing special. Good coffee but come on, that has to be a given right? Staff were super nice and helpful though.
We had stayed at the grand Cavour on our previous trip and I would definitely say that hotel was better.
Location is really good though. Easy to walk wherever you need to go.
