β β β β β Very slow and un organized. Rosanna made an Italian client go before us while they came by the window after we did. Waited to be assisted for 20 minutes and then she assisted them first even though they arrived about 5 minutes after we did. We booked an Audi A3 and were given an Audi A1 which was not enough for us 4 people and luggages. We still managed some how but it's obviously not fair that we had to be stuffed in like chickens. Would rather use other companies next time.

β β β β β I rented a car at 09:30 only for a day. Since the office will be closed at 13:00 and closed all day on Sunday, the person in charge told me to leave the car key and the paper at the nearby cafe which closes at 20:00. I returned the car and gave the key to a woman working for the cafe around 19:40. To my surprise, he charged for the delay ! I called him and complained so he gave me tel number of customer service which is busy all the time.
Is Avis or he a swindler ?

β β β β β Appalling experience. Car was rented through rentalcars. Less than 24hours before we were going to get it, we receive a phone call from the manager mentioning that due to some car accident, our vehicle was not available and they had none left. Aside of the disservice, they were NOT going to communicate any of this to rentalcars, leaving us in a awkward situation where we had no car nor a written proof of what they were saying.
We had to reach out to rentalcars and get support from them, and they managed to help us out.
I wonder why Avis refused to follow procedures with rentalcars by communicating them the situation and helping us rather than bouncing us back. Honestly unprofessional.

β β β β β I have rented a car through Rentalcars.com from the Avis/Budget Office: Avis Autonoleggio - Trapani on Via Avv Giuseppe Palmieri N 3, Trapani 91100, from the 22nd of Jun to the 25th of Jun 2021.
Still after 25 days they didn't release the fuel deposit from my credit card.
On the day I went to return the car, they were saying that the system "is not working" and that they will register the return of the car and refund me as soon as the system is back online. So, they just inspected the car, saw that it had a full tank and wrote "No damage" on the rental agreement, signed it, stamped it and then they gave me the rental agreement back, with the promise that as soon as the system is back on line I will be refunded. Obviously, this never happened.
