★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questi imponenti resti in laterizio fanno parte della derivazione dell'Acquedotto Claudio che Nerone fece costruire, partendo da Porta Maggiore fino al Celio per alimentare la sua grande residenza imperiale, la "Domus Aurea". Domiziano lo fece prolungare, con la altissime arcate che si vedono non lontane dall'Arco di Costantino, per alimentare i palazzi imperiali del Palatino. È interessante inseguirne i resti nella città, passando per via Domenico Fontana, piazza San Giovanni, via Santo Stefano Rotondo e piazza della Navicella.
These imposing brick remains are part of the derivation of the Claudian Aqueduct that Nerone had built, starting from Porta Maggiore to the Celio to feed his great imperial residence, the "Domus Aurea". Domitian had it extended, with the very high arches that can be seen not far from the Arch of Constantine, to feed the imperial palaces of the Palatine. It is interesting to follow the remains in the city, passing via Domenico Fontana, piazza San Giovanni, via Santo Stefano Rotondo and piazza della Navicella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar poco conocido. Sin embargo lleno de historia. Puedes pasear tranquilamente por el jardín que está alli y relajarte. Si duda aunque no está tan lleno de turistas se puede admirar y disfrutar tranquilamente...una verdadera ilusión poder haberlo visto
A little known place. However full of history. You can walk quietly through the garden that is there and relax. If you doubt even though it is not so full of tourists you can admire and enjoy it quietly ... a real illusion to have seen it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo breve tratto dell'acquedotto Claudio si trova all'interno del piccolo parco di via Statilia. Non ci sono recinzioni per cui è possibile avvicinarsi senza problema e ammirare questa struttura nata per aumentare la quantità di acqua verso il Palatino. Il parco circostante meriterebbe un pizzico più di cura.
This short stretch of the Claudio aqueduct is located inside the small park on Via Statilia. There are no fences so it is possible to approach without problems and admire this structure created to increase the amount of water towards the Palatine. The surrounding park would deserve a little more care.
