Church of Saint Mary Immaculate 'all'Esquilino'

The church is in the style of the 1800s (?) And not badly presented in a way neglected by its predecessors who, although not guilty of it, often ask (the priests who guard it) to be helped to put it back together with alms a little more conspicuous such as they did several years ago: if there were not a priest who to say him I would be "a saint" because I always ask to receive the host, that is the host, on the mouth and that is why he does not seem to be a holy man; of course it is not his fault nor mine, since there are rules to be respected dictated by the government in communion with the church especially in such a delicate moment in which there is the fear of covid-19, but for me the most important thing is, and not out of rebellion, but out of a deep belief. But this is not what I am asking now but a judgment on how the religious institute is, that is the church dedicated to the VVSS MARIA located in via Emanuele Filiberto on the right side of the intersection with Viale Manzoni ¹ Externally it is wonderful as there is the image, that is the bust of the VV SS MARIA, surmounted by arches in the 19th century style (?) And columns in relief on the edges, a short staircase (consisting of 3 or 4 steps complete with a metal handrail) of which as an entrance there are three doors, a large central one overlooking the nave and two simple side ones with elaborate glass in a not gaudy yellow color, indeed I would say more on the brown, so in keeping with the style of the church ² the interior is dark as Christian tradition dictates, but illuminated by a series of lights - lamps - ³ on the left side of the nave there is a recess where there are statues of saints and whose name I do not remember Also on this side, the sacristy and a corner where the confessional is placed ⁵ the main altar is placed in front of the public with another offered by the faithful and also decorated with two candles ⁶ the dividing balustrade, where until many years ago Catholics knelt to receive communion ⁷ all around and in the "background" there are images of more or less important and or well-known saints ⁸ on the right side of the main altar there are images of some other saints, such as San Pio da Pietrelcina and others Overall this place of worship is wonderful but as mentioned at the beginning it is cramped and dark THIS IS what this church looks like in my eyes

The church is not very old, having been built between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century in a very little Roman neo-gothic style, but the priest who celebrates the services is prepared, ironic and fascinating: it is therefore worth a visit. and listening.

This church located in via Emanuele Filiberto all'Esquilino is truly beautiful! Even if small as soon as you enter you find yourself (due to the ceilings completely painted in an intense blue (sky or universe)) immersed in a particular dimension. It is in neo-Gothic style and has a facade flanked by two low bell towers; above the entrance portal there is a mosaic of the Immaculate Conception wrapped in a cloak decorated with stars. The interior has three naves divided by columns, with stained glass windows. I definitely recommend a visit!
