They know the details of the gelato and the history, and are super friendly and offer samples. I would highly recommend and plan on coming back while I’m here! BEST gelato

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gelato is amazing - sweet, but not too sweet, flavorful, and soft. The woman behind the counter was very kind. Highly recommend their dark chocolate flavor. €4 for a fairly large, 3 flavor cup, which is a fair price in this part of the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gelato is outstanding with some unique flavors but what sets this shop apart from the others is the excellent customer service and price! They had a great variety of dairy free options as well. The employees were so kind answering my 3-year-olds many, many questions and letting him sample some of the unique flavors like rice and pistachio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NOT touristy garbage, which I’m noticing is a big problem navigating the cuisine of Florence. This is good quality gelato. The man behind the counter was kind, and he took procedures to get my gelato into a gluten free cone very safely. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and natural. Love it — going back tomorrow.

A small, setup outside where you could enjoy your gelato and people watch.
I got the lemon/strawberry gelato, sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance.

I'm a gelato fan and I always head here when in Florence. The gelatos are all amazing but the hazelnut one is easily the best I've ever had. So much flavour and clearly made with great quality ingredients.
The owner is really friendly and helpful too.
Close to the central market on a little side road, so not like some of the typical tourist places which have a huge choice, but poor quality.
