Upon arrival we might as well not have been Bonvoy elite members. No breakfast included as we normally get at other Marriott’s as titanium members and very average service. Rooms were hot and no AC. Noisy outside when the windows were opened. All doors bang closed and the corridors do not dampen sound of footsteps or trolleys. Bar and customer service generally quite slow. The food quality was the best thing about this hotel. Well done chef. Great food.

I booked the room thinking that being a Marriott group hotel I can expect the same standard as I always did back in Germany. But I for the first time had one of worst stays at the Marriott group hotels. We had a smart TV in our room which we could use to watch a movie (through our Netflix) as we were not feeling well but TV was not connecting to the internet. In fact it seemed like they didn’t configure any TV in the hotel to connect to Internet. We spent 2 hours together with hotel staff but no success and eventually staff didn’t even apologise but rather said “sir we tried” as if they did a big favour to us by just trying. Even TV in 3-star hotels do have internet connection. So one can’t do the following with smart TV in your Hotel: No Netflix because no internet connection (important for entertainment) No screen mirroring because of no internet connection (important for business use) These are the things that Marriott hotels in Germany have and one expects Business hotels to provide. Secondly, we had no telephone in the room. So there is no way we can talk to hotel staff. Thankfully in the app we had a number we use to call. Later we found out that they forgot to put the phone in our room. I mean seriously that you forgot to put the phone in the room? Also wanted to point out about showers. How could someone design shower with so much stupidity. The shower would not project water downwards (or atleast at an angle downwards) as it should be but it would project with very high pressure horizontally on the opposite wall. It was so annoying. We couldn’t even adjust as there was no way to adjust it either. Anyway, I will write a review on Google so people are aware of this before they book a room with this hotel. I hope that you will correct these things so future guests won’t have similar experience.

A typical business hotel of the usual Marriott standard so you know you will be getting a clean place to stay. Very modern with on site parking. Walking distance to old town. Breakfast was average, eggs tasted powdered and not much beyond toast and cold cuts on offer. Room was very clean and beds very comfortable

The overall property was nice and clean. Before my check-in I requested an executive platinum suite upgrade that was received by Marriott and later confirmed by Marriott that my request was fulfilled. Upon arrival AC hotel told me that my request could not be honored because there was no suite was 'available'. Frankly, Marriott Bonvoy would not grant a request that was not available... my assumption is that I was bumped due to a later request. Still poor form to take away a request due to a later booking; I will discuss with Marriott. Also, they did not refund my suite upgrade points until I challenged the fact that I did not receive a suite at check-in. To me, just poor form by the AC Motel and the staff had no explanation how this could happen... again poor form and performance by AC Hotel, very disappointing.

Every time I spoke with the front desk, they were ‘too busy’ to help me. You would expect some level of courtesy but it seems that they are under staffed. They would constantly complain that they have too much to do. Location is good, hotel overall is nice, but I got very bad vibes. I expected more, especially as a titanium member. Stayed for 5 nights and would not want to return in the future.

+Receptionists were very ‘disponibile’ e ‘simpatici’. Ex: we asked for some advices of taking public transportation to somewhere, though they don’t know how to go, but they told us where we might find some good advice. +Breakfast was fresh and the seats are neat and comfy. +Room was very tidy (though a bit hot for us) and silent. +Had a good sleep with the bed. Everything was good.

We stayed at this Marriott property for three nights. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The major tourist attractions are all within half hour walking distance though the reception will call for a Taxi if you need one. The breakfast is elaborate but not included in the tariff.

Nice and cozy hotel just 900 m from Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Quite easy to get by from station by tram, bus or walking if want burn some calories. Rooms are nice-clean and spacious. Staff receptive and friendly. Breakfast buffet well equipped. Only at bath tub need extra anti slippery surface under shower (safety). Maybe good to add extra soap and/or liquid soap. I had to have some meetings thru Internet very early, somehow Internet was not active from 5:30 to 7:45 am the three mornings I needed connection..
