★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying at this place was very exciting - especially the fact that this place use to be a monastry. Rooms were very spacious, even though a little bit cold. The hospitality was good - they have even let us take some of the books from their shelves in the lobby as a present! Foresteria was located cca 10 minutes from the city's core centre, and you can even get there just walking. Food - breakfast (their croassaints) and lunch (especially their pasta arabiata) was very delicious. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here at Foresteria Valdede is great. I called them right after I made a reservation because both of the guests were going to be under 18 and they perfectly knew how to handle it. The room was clean, big and with air conditioning. Check in was easy and quick. Always quiet here. Great position.

The price is good, the rooms are nice (albeit basic), it's pretty close to the historic city area as well as the gardens, and the history of the building is cool as well. Did not have the breakfast, but there are good cafes nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Florence and want a nice, quiet place that won't break your budget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent place to stay with a very friendly and international staff. If you're looking for cheap and clean accommodations in Firenze, this is the place to stay. The building has a very interesting story as well and is easy walking distance from many things and is in a nice district.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great stay at Foresteria Valdese in Florence. The lady at the reception was very kind, she was speaking very good French too (I did not even ask for it). As my room was not booked for the next day, they allowed me to keep it as my train was leaving late in the evening. The room was very clean and the building is ideally located. There are many bars and restaurants around and all the main attractions are located at a walking distance. Thank you for your warm welcome!

It feels like living in a monastery in some ways, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and welcoming... and the price can't be beat. I would stay here with pleasure any time I visit.
