★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il primo nucleo della villa risale all'800. Nel corso del secolo successivo è stata arricchita da nuovi volumi e dal caratteristico stile "ecclettico" pensato per lei dall'architetto milanese Mazzuccottelli.
La dimora della famiglia Motta fu anche importante punto di riferimento durante la Resistenza.
Ampio e soleggiato il giardino da visitare - se possibile - durante la fioritura primaverile delle camelie presenti in dozzine di varietà.
Per il momento non resta che accontentarsi dell'esterno visto dalla passeggiata a lago.
 The first nucleus of the villa dates back to the 1800s. During the following century it was enriched with new volumes and the characteristic "eclectic" style designed for her by the Milanese architect Mazzuccottelli.
The home of the Motta family was also an important point of reference during the Resistance.
The garden to visit is wide and sunny - if possible - during the spring flowering of camellias in dozens of varieties.
For the moment, all that remains is to settle for the exterior seen from the lakeside promenade.

Orta is a place hit and run: romantic. A holiday resort of the past, today a meeting place for local products. A place of stories and legends that nevertheless fascinate and make you fantasize in the first person.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non ho mai avuto la possibilità di accedere all interno del palazzo, purtroppo, oltretutto sede del comune. Il cortile interno è molto bello, ben curato il giardino e la terrazza, dove è possibile ammirare il lago in tutta la sua bellezza.
I never had the opportunity to enter the building, unfortunately, plus the seat of the municipality. The internal courtyard is very nice, the garden and the terrace are well-kept, where you can admire the lake in all its beauty.
