★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The island is tiny, you can walki around it in 20 minutes and be done, but I suggest you take your time to fully appreciate every crevice, every little cobblestone path. There are two themes: silence and meditation, you'll choose wich one to do by choosing the clock-wise or anti clock-wise direction. There is a small souvenir shop right at the beginning of the route and a small restaurant nearby. It is possible to visit the church, do pay special attention to the magnificent pulpit, carved out of pure black marble and decorated with the evangelist symbols.
Beware, the path is somewhat irregular, not weelchair friendly.
You can reach the island with both public and private transportation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cathedral located on an island accessed by ferry service. Usually closed during winters. The entire island is quite small and would take less than half an hour to cover. There are intricate carvings in the cathedral made if stone. Thee frescas are quite old. A very Serene and peaceful place to visit. Had the services of a guide to explain the significance of this place. Worth a visit to enjoy the boat ride and the cathedral

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to come down. Very quite and very small. Unfortunately there is only one way you can walk (10 mins) but the boat trip is worth it and only cost 4,50 return trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful island to visit. Incredibly cheap and accessible by ferry boats. The story and history of the island is interesting and the options to visit other locations on the lake by the same ferry ticket is a bonus.
