β β β β β A wonderful ruin, and cave; fun to walk around in and explore. Easy 5 minute drive from Sperlonga, and relatively quick to explore (could do an hour for the museum and ruins if you like). Pop over when you want a break from the beach, like we did!
Also, go to the fence around the ruin from the beach. The cool spring water bubbles up through the beach sand among the rocks in places.

β β β β β Beautiful place, you could see it from the hills on the side, but will have to pay to get in

β β β β β Great hidden gem. I do wish that they could have recreated the sculptures in the grotto as I would have love to seen how they would have looked in the cave. But what was there was worth seeing. It's a smaller site so only need about 30-45 minutes. But if you are in the area it's for sure worth stopping and touring.

β β β β β The museum was hard to find with Google, as there were not so many signs or designated parking areas. After some discussion there was a discount for young EU- Citizens. We visited the Villa first and there was next to no information given in the area, Wikipedia was our friend on this one. The area was widely open, no fenced of areas so that was a big plus. In the museum itself there was more information but the building was in a very bad state. All in all it was nice to visit if you take the research into your own hands. The entrance fee was about 2β¬ per person for people under 25.
