★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il faro di VIESTE sorge sullo scoglio di SANT'EUFEMIA proprio di fronte alla città di VIESTE. La sua posizione risulta strategica per le rotte di navigazione tra il medio e basso adriatico. Fu edificato nel 1867,è una torre ottagonale in mattoni. La torre in cui è ubicata la lanterna è situata sulla vecchia abitazione del fanalista ( donna) che oggi, grazie all'automazione è disabitata. ??
 The lighthouse of VIESTE rises on the rock of SANT'EUFEMIA just in front of the city of VIESTE. Its position is strategic for the navigation routes between the middle and lower Adriatic. Built in 1867, it is an octagonal brick tower. The tower in which the lantern is located is located on the old house of the lighting (woman) who today, thanks to the automation, is uninhabited. ??

Beautiful lighthouse complete with a rabbit island ... a rock with lots of caper plants, sustenance for these small animals! It can also be seen very well from the top of Vieste

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un faro situato su una isoletta emblema di Vieste ( uno dei tanti di questo fantastico paese) la sera assume un carattere particolare. Visto dall'alto del centro storico alla sera è bellissimo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicht nur der Ausblick auf den Leuchtturm ist toll, sondern die Gassen der gesamten Altstadt sind sehens- und erlebenswert. Man sollte sich genug Zeit zum Bummeln lassen. Einzigartiges Flair.
Not only the view of the lighthouse is great, but the streets of the entire old town are worth seeing and experiencing. You should allow yourself enough time to stroll around. Unique flair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Faro di Vieste, ammirabile da gran parte della città, sorge sull’isolotto di Santa Eufemia (o più precisamente Santa Eugenia), situato tra punta Santa Croce e punta San Francesco, a chiudure la baia di Marina Piccola.
Purtroppo automatizzata e gestita dalla marina ma sarebbe bello poter visitare il vecchio appartamento che veniva utilizzato da chi gestiva prima il faro
