Dirty, smelly station, without turnstiles, broken stamping machine, without time monitors, no kind of warning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No ticket machine, had to go to T-mil shop €2.80 to Pompeii, at intersection turn rt, at fork left then right 20 meters on rt. Make sure you transfer train at Poggiomarino for Pompeii

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those who are wondering, there are still no ticket machines here. You need to buy from a tobacconist.
You need to insert your ticket to be able to leave at your arrival station so don’t risk not getting one.
The staircase nearest the entrance is the trains going in the direction of the centre. The further staircase is trains going to Salerno and Pompei etc.
Quite dirty but seems safe during the day.
