We sat down in the shade to eat a snack in front of this store before checking out the glass inside. Plenty of space all around and some guy came out yelling at us to move saying "This is a store, go eat somewhere else" Needless to say we bought our souvenirs from a friendlier store. The Chandelier we bought at another store was $4.500 euro, it shipped for free with insurance in case it breaks. They also wire it to the voltage of your home country.

Wonderful visit, masters of glass working and kind people! An impressive gallery of works, also from the most famous artists and a warm welcome. A guide showed us the masters at work and explained us the secrets of this art. Highly recommended.

Fantastic people and artwork! This was the highlight of my visit to Murano. I did some research on authentic Murano glass before my trip to Venice. I knew I needed to be careful of shops near the main canal boat landing and head north toward the glass museum to find authentic Murano glass. After visiting some other high pressure tourists shops, because thatโ€™s where my hotel boat dropped me off and I was fenced in or go through the shops, I escaped to head to the glass museum. On my way there just before the bridge I saw this beautiful shop; it was Mazzega Murano! I decided to go in and look around. There were two very nice gentleman working, so I decided to ask them some questions about their glass to determine if it was authentic. One of the men answered all my questions, and I had a very good feeling of his authenticity and honesty. He was very kind and took me on a private tour of the small factory when they do presentations, as well as show me Marco Toso Borella was working on one of his gorgeous tiles with gold leaf gilding. I was then taken to the upstairs gallery where I saw the most beautiful pieces of all sizes, shapes and colors. I also saw Marco Toso Borellaโ€™s โ€œGirl with a Pearl Earringโ€ hanging on the wall. I finished going back downstairs to the main storefront. I started looking around more to make some selections to purchase. At No time didnโ€™t any pressure me in to making a purchase. They were there to answer a few more questions I had about some wine glasses I wanted, but in more colors than I saw. I made my purchase and they gave me my receipts as well as their information because I wanted them to ship my purchase back to my home in the USA. I was so please with them and my purchase that took less then two weeks from the time I purchase it to arrive, I ordered more glasses as well as the @Girl with a Pearl Earringโ€ today. They are even going to send me some photos of pictures frames so I can purchase more of those too. I can not tell you enough how pleased I am that I visited Mazzega Murano. I even asked a few other shops and at the glass museum about Mazzega Murano. Everyone said โ€œthey were one of the very good onesโ€. Even the people at the museum explained that they had to be neutral to be fair to all the merchants, but with a little persuasive careful wording of my question I did receive the response that Mazzega Murano was great! Please do your own research and decide for yourself, but I think you will be extremely pleased if you visit and/or make a purchase from Mazzega Murano. A very sincere thank you to all the owner/management, staff and artists for my wonderful visit and fabulous purchases.

Downstairs is the souvenir shop. Upstairs is their gallery. Amazing collection of glass chandeliers, vases, artworks of all you can imagine. Below the gallery is their design workshop. We had a warm welcome from Michael who personally showed us around and explained the process of glass-making.

Magical Experience! We visited a year ago - pre COVID - and got a personal tour of glass making. I dream of returning to this place and honoring the artists with more purchases.Thank you - you made our trip to Venice worth dreaming of - a return to Murano!

Nice glass blowing and beautiful peices and we had a great tour guide! The stuff were very expensive but due to covid with less tourists you can get better prices! You can have them send you a taxi to pick you up for 25 euros per person.

My friends and I visited Mazzega and had a great time. We were initially greeted downstairs and expressed interest in glassware. Stefano took us to the section of the showroom upstairs where the majority of their collection is. He asked us to take a look at everything and ask any questions we wanted. He was more than happy to talk about the artists or the technique of glassblowing that was required to create the piece of art. After our tour we felt it was easier to address our modest budget this way if we asked about a piece outside our range it would save time. Stefano was still more than happy to go into detail about anything we asked even if it was outside our budgets. We eventually found a set of glassware we loved and were able to make a deal. We are really looking forward to receiving them.
