Fantastic hike up the volcano. Only for the fit and healthy if you take the right path. Left path should be accessible for most able individuals. Worth the hike....views and photos are spectacular

It is a sin to be in Sicily and not face the Queen of Etna! I would recommend! Amazing landscape!

Oh yes place, but don't expect super beautiful views, as post vulcanic landscape has limited capability to be a beatifull. However definitely it might be a breathtaking or simply extraordinary. If you wonder if this is a place with to see the answer is only one - yes. I've been there twice. Please do not neglect the payment for the parking I have whtness strict controller. There is also an restaurant with decent food, and some barbecue bar. If you go there please remember about proper shoes. If you go on bit of trekking there please be aware that the sharp edges of vulcanic rock might scratch your daily shoes, nothing dangerous but proper shoes is recommended for any foot trips there.

A five minutes walk from the parking brings you at the top rim of this nice, 2002, crater. Beautiful surroudings.

Easily accessible thanks to perfect location near Refugio Sapienza parking lot. Almost anyone can reach its peak and it's worth visiting especially around sunset time when the landscape from moon-like turns into mars-like which is even more appealing.

It was fun for a short trip, though climbing up the hill for the view was exhausting. Next time better take long tour full day and make it all the way to the top! But we have seen a mini eruption which was a scary and exciting at the same time

Easy to reach from the parking, giving you an aerial view of the sorounging area. Around 100m ascent. The descent is more trickier as the slope is high and the vulcanic rock and sand is quite slippery.

Tip: visit the small crater first and then walk up to the larger one, so you can look down on the smaller one. Incredible view, just walk around as you like, take a steep path or more relaxt and let the volcano impress you. We parked a bit down the road before the touristy area and walked down the road a bit.
