I	Isla Murgatroyd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I decided to rent a scooter as it's one of the best ways to see Elba. However, on renting a scooter, the staff were extremely lax and did not go through simple user instructions. On leaving the rental place, a brief collision with the Kirb resulted in a few meer scratches to the scooter, which added to the existing scratches and damage already present on the scooter. On return of the scooter, the extremely rude staff member began shouting at us and claiming we had created all of the scratches, even though they were detailed in the pre rental document. This series of events resulted in us loosing our €150 deposit. This company took our deposit money unfairly and took no time to explain how the damage would equate to €150. A disappointing end to an otherwise fantastic stay in Elba. Would not recommend. Scoot your business elsewhere!

It is difficult to arrange rentals from afar sometimes but the staff of TWN Rent made the process smooth and transparent, and accommodated my special request for an automatic car. There were no surprises and everything went according to plan. The staff was also pro-active in explaining some basics of Elba island, including recommending good restaurants across the island. Highly, highly recommend the service and will definitely be dealing with TWN Rent the next time I am on Elba. Thank you for your wonderful service!

But that’s not why I loved the place. Here’s why: unlike other car rentals, where I was mechanically referred to the price list, these guys were actually interested in making a deal and willing to meet me halfway when I started bargaining (yes, I confess, I’m cheap and I really wanted to keep to the budget :-P). So, in the end, we got the best price (I checked) in high season. And, importantly, when these guys say “Don’t worry, it’s fine.”, it really means that it’s fine, they’ve taken care of it, and you don’t have to worry. Definitely my first choice next time we’re on Elba!

English was more than understandable. We rent a car for one day only for €60+15 insurance. We chose Opel Astra Cabriolet as we seen in advertising. But unfortunately we got a quite old Astra, not the same model as we expected. Car was in the good condition but dirty. Please clean your cars up more often. We got it with the full tank, drove about 75 km and paid €18 to fill it up. I would recommend this company to my friends.
