Costeggiata da un lato da negozi prestigiosi di abiti o articoli lacali, di souvenir e tabaccai bar e ristoranti. Dall altro lato il mare con yacht. Sotto L arco dell orologio ci sono altri bar e ristoranti e la sera ci sono bancarelle di ogni tipo. Alla fine della strada si trova un museo dove ci sono eventi ogni giorno. La parte alta “le fortezze “ si può ammirare la città dall alto ed è possibile godersi di una vista mozzafiato, da cartolina sia di giorno che di sera. Portoferraio a mio avviso è uno dei punti più belli dell isola d Elba ed è difficile non innamorarsene. È sempre un piacere venire qui in vacanza. I love it! Consigliatissimo! The main road that goes directly to the heart of Portoferraio is the calata. Flanked on one side by prestigious shops selling clothes or lacal articles, souvenirs and tobacconists, bars and restaurants. On the other side the sea with yachts. Under the clock arch there are other bars and restaurants and in the evening there are stalls of all kinds. At the end of the street there is a museum where there are events every day. The upper part "the fortresses" you can admire the city from above and you can enjoy a breathtaking view, a postcard both by day and by night. Portoferraio in my opinion is one of the most beautiful spots on the island of Elba and it is difficult not to fall in love with it. It is always a pleasure to come here on vacation. I love it! Highly recommended!
