I went in to buy a backpack for trekking, there are t-shirts, souvenirs for sale, and there are operators for information about the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Organizzazione inesistente. Siamo arrivati per partire per l escursione al Volterraio specificando mille volte che eravamo con una bambina di tre anni. Non solo il mezzo non era idoneo, ma avevano contato un posto in meno e non saremmo potuti salire comunque. Arroganza e superficialità nella gestione del problema ci ha quindi portati a dover rinunciare e a buttare il pomeriggio. Grazie e a mai più.
Non-existent organization. We arrived to leave for the trip to the Volterraio specifying a thousand times that we were with a girl three years. Not only the medium was not suitable, but they had counted a place less and would not be able to climb anyway. Arrogance and superficiality in the management of the problem has thus led us to having to give up and throw in the afternoon. Thanks and never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo stati a visitare la fortezza del Volterra io guidati da una delle guide parco dell'isola. Davvero un'esperienza stupenda!! Un posto magico,le cui mura,al tramonto si tingono di rosa, circondato da una natura incontaminata e bellissima!! La vecchia mulattiera che si segue per arrivare é abbastanza ripida,ma assicuriamo che ne vale davvero la pena. Quasi indispensabili scarponcini da trekking ?ed amore per la natura?. La ragazza che ci ha guidato e spiegato ci ha davvero trasmesso l'AMORE che hanno queste persone per questi magnifici luoghi e l'impegno che mettono per la salvaguardia della natura!!! Davvero complimenti! Siete davvero ammirabili!????
We were to visit the fortress of Volterra I led by one of the island park guides. Really wonderful experience !! A magical place, whose walls are tinged with pink at sunset, surrounded by pristine and beautiful nature !! The old mule track that follows to arrive is quite steep, but we assure you that it is really worth it. Almost indispensable trekking boots "and love for nature". The girl who guided us and explained really has given us the LOVE that these people have for these magnificent places and the effort they put for the Protection of Nature !!! Really congratulations! You are truly admirable! ????

Daniela è stata davvero molto brava ci ha dato una quantità enorme di informazioni e ha tracciato il quadro storico nonché quello naturalistico e ambientalistico in modo completo e esaustivo....e anche simpatico e vivace.

Daniela was really very good, she gave us a huge amount of information and traced the historical as well as the naturalistic and environmental picture in a complete and exhaustive way .... and also nice and lively.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Parco Nazionale dell’Arcipelago Toscano è l’ente pubblico non economico che gestisce il Parco marino più grande del Mediterraneo: comprende sette isole, isolotti e scogli ricomprese in un’ampia porzione del Mare Tirreno, al centro di “Pelagos” il grande Santuario dei Cetacei. Grazie alla numerose Guide del Parco, disponibili e professionali, ci è stato possibile visitare, accompagnati in piena sicurezza, gli angoli più spettacolari delle isole dell’Arcipelago. Noi abbiamo visitato, oltre all’Elba e Capraia, Pianosa e recentemente anche Montecristo, con grande nostra piena soddisfazione. La sede del Parco è in un’ex tonnara posta in spettacolare posizione, sull’istmo di Enfola, mentre gli Uffici operativi sono a Portoferraio: informazioni e servizi possono essere richiesti anche alle “Case del Parco” veri e propri presìdi distribuiti sul territorio.
The Tuscan Archipelago National Park is the non-economic public body that manages the largest marine park in the Mediterranean: it includes seven islands, islets and rocks included in a large portion of the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the center of "Pelagos" the great Sanctuary of the Cetaceans. Thanks to the many helpful and professional Park Guides, it was possible for us to visit, accompanied in complete safety, the most spectacular corners of the islands of the Archipelago. In addition to Elba and Capraia, we visited Pianosa and recently also Montecristo, to our great satisfaction. The Park headquarters is in a former tonnara located in a spectacular position, on the Isthmus of Enfola, while the operational offices are in Portoferraio: information and services can also be requested from the "Case del Parco", real presidia distributed throughout the area.
