★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst service I’ve ever seen. Your trains can be cancelled at any moment without clear reason. Ok, once your train is cancelled, you don’t know where to get more information. You’re going to biglietteria and trying to find out how to refund money for tickets, you meet inside mature man with Trenitalia’s Customer Care Service vest (ha-ha), but he can’t speak English at all, telling you something in Italian, waving his arms and then just ignoring you. I certainly don’t recommend Trenitalia to people value their time. Very disappointed in treatment of tourists in the last day of my trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I learned the hard way of telling first class from second class cabin. Why don't they standardised their labelling. Some have it on the outside of the train, while others have it on the door.? easy money for the train company I guess. And luckily I saw some other commuters validating their tickets...reminded myself to validate them, cos after a day of touring around, it's easy to forget to do so....and stand to get a fine of 25euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Efficient website to book your travel arrangements online. Ferriacosa more expensive than Regional Trains but you get comfortable seats, are very clean & you can recharge your electronic devices. Snacks & beverages available. Each station has an overhead screen depicting where your carriage will stop on the station so you don’t have to run with luggage. Well organised.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a local that generally travels privately. Small complaint that on a very early train I booked a1st class I found a few tramps happily resting and then travelling on it.
No one guarding the train - guess too expensive. The control guy passed but who is he to move a 3 tramps I found only in the first cabin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a ticket to airport and apparently you have to get the validated somehow! So i ended up paying for another ticket!!! How am i supposed to know as a traveler?!!! This train sucks, and no wonder their train is empty. Best hope to its bankruptcy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The company is a disaster, I bought a ticket to Venice for 8:25 and they canceled it 10 minutes before leaving, then they wanted to make me pay a difference for a train that left at 8:45 when they had to give me a solution they sold me Another problem, undoubtedly a scam, the attention of the staff was very rude.
