★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy, family kitchen, authentic roman style, friendly Cristina hostess, her husband cooks, over a century family owned business. 10-15 tables highly raccommanded to reserve your table. Very close to Roman catholic ancient catacumbs, right on the Appia antica, one of the first ancient highways.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited in line outside for a seat while locals were seated when the restaurant just opened, only to be told pointedly when we got to the front of the line that the "house was full" with half the restaurant empty. Locals told us no event was on, and were equally surprised. Very unfortunately not interested to apply equal treatment to customers.
Avoid. Much better and hospitable places around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there because we had to wait for the catacombs to open and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was great and reasonably priced. Everyone else in the dining room was Italian, which is always a good sign.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty bathroom, no toilet paper. Wi-Fi very slow. Radio constantly playing loud rubbish. Lots of road noise, even inside. This is a park, why is there not a view of the park, rather than a road?
Food took long to be served.
