β β β β β Walked there from the Colloseum, on a hot summer day, about a couple of miles each way on a Saturday around noon, only to find it closed. No signs, Google page says it's open on Saturdays. It's off the beaten path. The ground floor of what looks like an apartment building off a non discript side street. May return as this may be a gem
Update: Returned here, taking a Metro, on a Sunday almost a month later around 4 pm. It was open ! There was a full table of people sitting chatting but when I went inside the waiter told they were closed. It was confirmed by another waiter. They would not be open for dinner and would be closed Monday. Luckily there was a bar / restaurant next door on the corner.

β β β β β We arrived a bit late so we only had time for il primo and dessert. The place is very nice and the food was amazing. Probably the best pasta e fungi I had in Rome so far. Carbonara was also good. The people in the trattoria are also very friendly. They also have a very friendly dog and cat. I did not manage to take a picture but they are the cutest.
