Nice atmosphere with very friendly and humble staff. We had the Carbonara pasta and it was amazing! Definitely recommending going here

Amazing rustic italian food and the waiter made and excellent suggestion for wine. Prices were very reasonable.

I gave them a five star review previously, but the service and quality has dropped dramatically since they have been mentioned on television. How very disappointing. Its barely even average and the waiter was just rude and i asked for a vegetarian alternative. Last year it was no problem sir and whipped up something fantastic.

Amazing food and decent Italian customer service. We ordered starter with hummus & octopus and main dishes with a bolognese pasta and a tomato codfish. We loved the starter and bolognese pasta so so much and highly recommend this one. But the codfish was really salty. Overall experience is 5/5 for this restaurant with good food, good price, good local authentic ambiance and not too crowded with tourists.

We found this place after watching Bourdain on TV. The restaurant is small and therefore very cozy. Only locals at the time when we went, which was around 13:00 on a Thursday. They have the menu in English and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. We skipped starters and went for mains straight. Spaghetti all'amatriciana was divine and so we're the tripes and the bean soup with pasta. The chicken cacciatore was also delicious. For desserts we had the spresso and it was proper. The place is a short walk from the collosseum and its well worth it.

Not pricy. Not sure what planet anyone who says that is from. You’d pay more for garbage at the Olive Garden and too many Americans forget they aren’t in America when they come to Italy. The service is attentive when you ask for something but it Italy it’s considered pesky for servers to keep bothering you. The service here was great. I came alone, was given a nice table as the first diner of the evening, and she’s a tear sitting at the table where Anthony Bourdain sat. The Amatriciana was the best I’ve had and I’ve had a lot of Amatriciana. A slightly fresher twist to it. The Pollo Romana was braised in a sweet red bell pepper sauce and was utterly savory and mouthwatering. The tartufo tasted like the most pure essence of chocolate and I had a lovely Orvieto white wine with it as well, all for about 35 euro. The bread isn’t “dry”—it’s the style of the bread! And in Italy that’s for your sauce, not an appetizer. Make a reservation or come right when they open. And for a moment, recall Anthony Bourdain savoring his time there. You’ll feel his presence and maybe shed a tear—but the flavor of the food might just make that happen. Excellent. Also, Americans, TRY speaking italian. You can’t just barrel into a country, into a restaurant and not even try. It’s rude. So stop. You all have google translate on your phones so use it, or don’t complain.

We came here because all the other more popular places were full. In the one word - the place is disgusting. The service and vibe are ok, nothing wrong with that, but the food... First, we ordered prosciutto with melon, the melon was fine, but prosciutto - was like the cheapest from the random grocery store. Pasta carbonara - disgusting. How is it possible that I without any culinary skills can prepare pasta much better at home than this carbonara? And don't tell me that I'm not Italian and don't understand anything about pasta. I tried pasta in other Italian restaurants and can tell, that this one was disgusting. And sauce and pasta itself. Then came drinks, and we ordered an Aperol spritz. how can you mess up the Aperol spritz? Well, by adding disgusting prosecco, but even this is not all. Instead of orange, they added lemon for some reason. And as a post scriptum, I really like Italian pasta and Aperol, but after this place, I won't try it anytime soon even somewhere else.
