Five stars doesn’t do justice to this place it deserves more. You get the best All’matriciana in the city, very good house wine and charming, welcoming service. My only regret is not to be able to eat more. They get full very quickly so make sure to have a reservation or to be there before opening.

Heard great things about this restaurant although not convinced it lives up to the hype. Went on a Saturday which I understand is a very busy night to choose, got in okay after queuing (first time ever queue for a restaurant!). Lovely environment, great decor and menu very clear to understand. Not sure why there’s only one option for wine (1/2 a litre!) waitress was lovely but far too rushed, the place was extremely busy and noisy Which completely ruined the ambiance and reminded me of a fast food joint rather than a nice highly rated restaurant worth queuing for. Maybe a case of trying for quantity over quality. Mussels were a good size but I wouldn’t say the sauce had much depth, the fried courgette mozzarella anchovy starter was seriously fried and not that good, would have preferred much less batter. Main; my dad had the ox cheek pasta which was lovely, I couldn’t eat my porcini pasta - I urge you to avoid if you like mushroom flavour this did not live up to it, the pasta was on the under done side (before al dente) and I couldn’t eat it. The cheesecake was good, highlight of the meal. Overall I’d say don’t worry about queuing , there are plenty of other much simpler, less chaotic restaurants which are worth trying out

Truly one of the best restaurants in Rome! It’s a little bit hidden and kind of in the basement, so you cannot sit outside. The pasta is out of this world!! Seriously so so good! ? And the bruschetta, holy moly!!???? Also it’s a favorite among locals. When we got there, there were many people waiting, but the stuff was truly making an effort to minimize waiting time for everyone!

I advise everyone to make a reservation! It is a very crowded and famous restaurant and that says a lot about their food... It is the best! We went without reservation (huge mistake), so we had to wait until about 10 pm but the delicious food made it all worth it. Very cheap for what it's worth.

The best restaurant in Roma!! I observed locals love here; 80% of customers are people around here I guess? You should make a reservation otherwise you end up waiting for at least 30 minutes though it is worthwhile. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The real traditional Italian restaurant. The menu is really plentiful with interesting dishes which I have never found anywhere else. It's delicious as well. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. The prices are very good for the quality. BUT the wait is real.. be prepared for waiting for an hour for a table. I guess the wait is worth it.. I couldn't find how to make reservation, but there are people who were with reservation.

This place definitely deserves all the praise it is getting. The food is nothing short of excellent, the service is great and the overall experience was incredible. It is also ridiculously busy so if you do not have a reservation you might have a strict time limit, however it is more than enough time to enjoy your meal.

Went here our first night ever in Italy and it did not disappoint!! Everything I imagined eating in Italy would be like. The bread was so good, the wine even better, and the pasta…don’t even get me started! If you are in Rome for a few days, make sure to hit up this place. The wait is super long but it’s worth it. Everyone eats late in Rome so go sometime between 6-8 to get in faster. Enjoy!
